About

Anja Bibby is an interdisciplinary theatre maker who incorporates elements of site-specific theatre, one-on-one theatre, physical theatre, dance, music, performance art and installation art into her work. She has a Masters in Physical Theatre and a Masters in French from the University of Oxford. She has since trained with clown greats such as Gaulier and Spymonkey, and is developing her own approach to the clowning art form, rooted in her experimentation with making costumes from found objects and waste. Anja has also been singing jazz for more than ten years and has a number of ongoing singing projects. She credits this eclectic mix of inspirations and experiences with giving her a unique approach to theatre making and a strong instinct for combining different genres and artforms.
